Christmas Owl Spinner Card

STAMP SET
Teeny Tiny Wishes

CARD STOCK
Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Real Red, Early Espresso, Basic Black, DSP

INK
Basic Black

ACCESSORIES
2 Pennies, Double sided sticky foam pieces (you can use pieces from old rubber stamp scraps)

TOOLS
Word Window Punch, Owl Punch, Regular Hole Punch

ADHESIVES
Snail Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions are based on an A2 sized card. Spinner tracks are also designed for A2 sized cards and may be used vertically or horizontally (with the 2 different sizes of tracks available.). Additional items needed: 2 pennies, 1 pop dot, glue dot, extra double sided sticky foam pieces, folded A2 card base, additional front to card (cardstock cut to 5 ¼” x 4”), image to make cartwheel! Stamp your spinner track on the spare piece of cardstock with the word window punch. This will be the front of the card. Cut out this oval with detail scissors. Try to cut either on or just inside the oval line. You should still be able to see some leftover ink. Just turn it around to be the back. Make a “penny sandwich” with your two pennies stuck together with a pop dot in the center. Carefully slip one side (one penny) into the middle of your cut track. Ensure the pennies roll freely back and forth in the track. If they stick anywhere, remove the pennies and trim that area a little more. Decorate the card front (with the track) as you wish. On the back, stick your extra foam pieces—one in each corner and one in the middle. You may also want one on each side near the spinner track for additional support. Peel the backing from the foam pieces and stick the entire card front to the folded card base. Trim your image and stick it to the center of one of the pennies with the glue dot. Carefully slide the back penny into the track. Your image should now cartwheel freely back and forth across the front of the card. Note that regular paper is not strong enough to use as the “card front” with the track on it. Also, these cards will require extra postage due to the additional thickness.
